Edetect Gel with peroxide
Gel for orifice detection and chemical and mechanical enlargement of root canals
Contains EDTA salts (17 %), peroxide (10 %), and cetrimide.
Its main component is EDTA disodium salt. After injection into dentine, EDTA forms a complex with dentine calcium, loosens the structure of hard tooth tissues and facilitates the enlargement of calcified and sclerous orifice of the canals, cleaning and formation of hardly accessible root canals. The gel is an effective lubricant for endodontic instruments. The gel is water soluble and can be easily washed out from the root canals.
